Wilmington man arrested in connection to Emory Street shooting
Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting in the 800 block of Emory street Monday, January 26th that killed 20 year old Dajour Ellison.
24 year old Don Eugene Nixon III of Wilmington was arrested yesterday after officers conducted a traffic stop.
Following an investigation by the WPD, Nixon is now in custody and charged with First Degree Murder, Possession of Firearm by Felon, and Discharge Firearm into Occupied Property.
Nixon is currently being held at the NHSO Detention Center without bond.
