Wilmington man dies following medical emergency crash in elementary school parking lot
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say a man has died following a crash just before noon on Wednesday.
The incident took place along Forest Hills Drive and ended when a vehicle struck other vehicles in the parking lot of Forest Hills Global Elementary School.
Donald Crater Jr., 56, was transported to Novant Health NHRMC by EMS but later died.
Police say evidence indicates Crater suffered from a sudden medical problem which caused him to lose control of his vehicle and crash.
