Wilmington man faces felony charges over rape and secret peeping

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington man is facing multiple felony charges across 30 open cases filed by the Wilmington Police Department.

According to court records 38 year old Michael Trey faces charges including felony secret peeping, second-degree forcible rape, and second-degree forcible sexual offense.

Court records say he allegedly “surreptitiously used device to create photographic image of the victim underneath the clothing being worn by the victim for the purpose of viewing the body of the victim without her consent”.

There is currently no court date set.
