Wilmington man faces multiple sex crime charges involving child
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington man was arrested on Sunday for multiple child sex crimes charges dating back to 2021.
Rashod Ahmon Tyson, 32 is charged with Indecent Liberties with a Child, Statutory Sex Offence with a child by an adult, and Statutory Rape of a child by an adult.
According to the warrants, the crimes happened in November of 2021, when the child was 9-years-old at the time. Tyson was 29.
The warrant for his arrest was issued in late June.
He is currently being held without bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for July 31.
