Wilmington man facing charges after traffic stop

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —  A Wilmington man was arrested after a traffic stop Monday night.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, WPD units saw a truck in the 3000 block of North 30th Street that was displaying fake registration.

Upon stopping, the driver of the vehicle exited the vehicle and fled on foot eastbound on Princess Place Drive.

Officers then quickly arrested Thomas McMillan Jr., 43.

He was charged with Resist/Delay/Obstruct, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Operators License, No Liability Insurance, and Canceled/Revoked/Suspended Certificate/Tag.

He is being held without bond at the NHSO Detention Center.
