Wilmington man facing several drug charges after arrest

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington man faces several drug charges after police recovered nearly 39 bindles of heroin.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of Montgomery Avenue about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
A K9 conducted a search of the vehicle and found methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone, fentanyl, and marijuana, in addition to those heroin bindles.
Doryll McKoy, 34, was charged with PWIMSD Schedule VI Controlled Substance, PWIMSD Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and No Operator’s License, among other charges.
He is being held at the NHSO Detention Center with a $175,000 secured bond.
