Wilmington man in custody after shots fired Friday morning

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington is in custody after shots were fired on Friday morning.

According to a news release, Wilmington Police Department heard gunshots in the 900 block of N. 10th Street.

When the officers arrived, police say that they observed a man walk into a house. Officers attempted to get the suspect to come outside by calling through loudspeakers.

The suspect eventually exited the residence with his hands up and officers took Anthony Lee Brown, 33, of  Wilmington into custody without further incident.

The Wilmington Police Department say that this is an ongoing investigation. Brown is being held under a $1.5 million dollar bond. Here is a list of the charges Brown is currently facing:
