Wilmington mayor to seek re-election

WILMINGTON, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) — Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo plans to file for re-election Monday, according to a flier being circulated by Louise McColl, who has managed past mayoral campaigns for Saffo.

Saffo plans to file first thing Monday morning at the New Hanover County Board of Elections, the flier says.

Efforts to reach Saffo were unsuccessful Thursday morning.
