Wilmington police charge man in connection to Metting Road shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say a man is facing felony charges in connection to a shooting over Memorial Day weekend.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 8 p.m. on May 25 in the area of Metting Road. While no one was injured, police say evidence at the scene confirmed that shots were fired. Several vehicles in the area were damaged.
According to a news release from the Wilmington Police Department, Bryan Hall, 33, of Wilmington has been charged with Felony Obstruction of Justice and Felony Accessory After the Fact. Investigators say Hall was present during the shooting and was driving one of the vehicles containing the shooters.
