Wilmington Police Department investigate deadly shooting at Hanover Apartments

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department is responding to a shooting that happened around 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.

According to WPD, the shooting occurred at Hanover Apartments on Wilshire Boulevard.

WPD spokesman Greg Willett said once units arrived on scene, “they located two individuals inside of an apartment that were both deceased, a male and a female.”

Willett said this is an isolated incident and does not appear to be random.
