Wilmington Police Department’s K9 Blu receives donation of body armor
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department’s K9 Blu has received a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization.
The donation came from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. and was sponsored by Don and Misty Fike of Galesburg, IL.
The vest is embroidered with the sentiment “Born to Love- Trained to Serve-Loyal Always”.
