Wilmington police identify man and woman killed in fiery crash

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department has identified the two people killed in a fiery crash early Sunday morning.

Police say Noah Giovanni Johnson, 21, of Camp Lejeune and Brooklen Mae Wallace, 18, of Wilmington, died at the scene of the crash on Willard Street.

The crash happened around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. When first responders arrived, the vehicle was engulfed in flames.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
