Wilmington Police investigating armed robbery at Taco Bell

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Taco Bell on Market Street.

Spokeswoman Linda Rawley says police have obtained surveillance photos of the man who attempted to rob the Taco Bell around 7:39 am Sunday morning at 4101 Market Street. Witnesses say the suspect entered the restaurant with a handgun.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’1 – 6’2 inches tall, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and black boots. Witnesses say he had on a camouflage bandana and was headed towards Princess Place Dr.
