Man seriously hurt after hit-and-run crash

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police investigators are trying to find the driver accused of hitting a pedestrian Sunday evening.

The incident was reported in the 4200 block of Market Street just before 9 p.m., police said. A 57-year-old male pedestrian was found in the roadway. He was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in critical condition. His current condition is unknown.
