Wilmington Police investigating shot fired into apartment

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating an incident regarding a shot being fired near Randall Parkway.

A police spokeswoman said the shot was fired early Sunday morning.

They said no one was injured, but a witness reported that a shot was fired into the apartment at the Lofts at Randall. Witnesses reported hearing arguing coming from Greenway Drive, but did not report seeing anyone fire a gun.

Police searched for a suspect but were unable to find anyone. The spokeswoman said they are continuing to investigate.
