Wilmington Post 10 opens playoffs with win over Hampstead Post 167

HAMPSTEAD, NC (WWAY) —  Wilmington Post 10 beat Hampstead Post 167 on Thursday night 15-3 in game one of their best of five playoff series. Max Johnson hit for the cycle for Post 10. Brandon Boone earned the win on the mound despite Danny Wilson hitting two homers for Post 167.

Game two of the series is set for Friday at Buck Hardee Field in Wilmington at 7pm.

HOPE MILLS, NC  (WWAY) — Hope Mills defeated Brunswick County 5-1 on Thursday night in game one of their best of five playoff series. The winner of this series will face the winner of the Post 10-Post 167 series next week.
