Wilmington Symphony Orchestra hosts music camp for high school students

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a summer chamber music camp for high school string, brass, and woodwind players in August.

The camp will take place from August 2nd, through 10th.

Campers would enjoy rehearsals, daily coaching, masterclasses, technique classes, and audition prep with an outstanding faculty.

Here is what is included in the camp:

  • Auditor Pass to the Vivace Music Festival (access to all masterclasses and concerts)
  • Pre-concert dinners and social events
  • Chamber classes at Grace United Methodist Church, all within walking distance of St. James Episcopal and CFCC’s Wilson Center (Vivace concerts and classes)
  • A final WSO Fortissimo! Chamber concert at Carolina Bay at Autumn Hall on Saturday, August 10.
