Wilmington to host Southeast North Carolina Veterans Parade Saturday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Downtown Wilmington will honor military service members this weekend during the annual Southeast North Carolina Veterans Parade, an event celebrating the legacy of veterans and active-duty personnel.

The parade is set for Saturday, November 8, 2025, beginning with a pre-show at 10 a.m. in front of Thalian Hall on North 3rd Street, followed by the parade itself at 11 a.m. The procession will travel from Hanover Street to Market Street, showcasing military units, high school marching bands, veteran organizations, classic military vehicles, and special honorees.

In addition to the parade, the Veterans Celebration and Information Fair will offer local organizations the opportunity to connect with veterans and their families, providing information on services and support programs.

Spectators are encouraged to line the sidewalks along North 3rd Street early to secure prime viewing locations, particularly near Market Street where the parade concludes.
