Wilmington’s Stilman White reflects on national championship loss

HOUSTON, TX (WWAY) — Wilmington’s Stilman White didn’t play on Monday, but the former Hoggard guard did play on Saturday in the Final Four win over Syracuse. White had a hard time coming to grips with the 77-74 heartbreaking loss in the national championship game against Villanova.  “I don’t know what to say,” White said after the national championship game. “It was a tough loss. Probably the hardest loss any of us will take in our lives.  I am proud of the team, getting back from ten down in the second half.”
