Wine and Chocolate Festival concludes

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Today was the final day of the Wine and Chocolate Festival in Downtown Wilmington.

The three day event brought wine and chocolate fans from all over the area to the Coastline Center Downtown to try out some of the best drinks and snacks.

Dozens of vendors filled the room as people had the opportunity to sample and purchase various items, beverages and food.

The setting was perfect for anyone to enjoy.

“It’s built as a marketplace, so with the combination of the wine tastings, chocolate samplings and seeing what local craftsmen have as far as the marketplace goes,” Sheila Debastiani, Zebulon, said. “It sounded like a neat thing to do on a Sunday afternoon.”

So if you were looking for those local crafts, or some tasty treats, the festival was for you.
