Woman accused of stabbing child’s father

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A woman accused of stabbing her child’s father Saturday night made her first appearance in front of a judge Monday.

Investigators say Barbara Shaw stabbed Darius Age during an argument near 9th and Castle Streets.

The 23-year-old is in jail under $1,000 bond.

Shaw is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
