Woman attacked while jogging in Cheraw

CHERAW, S.C. (WPDE) — A man attacked a woman Saturday morning while she was jogging in the 300 block of Jersey Street in Cheraw, according to Cheraw Police Chief Keith Thomas.

Thomas said the woman was able to fight off the attacker and escape.

Officials say the suspect may have scratches on his face and possible injuries to his hands.
