Woman drives car into pond, charged with DWI

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police charged Lakeshia Teel, 29, with DWI after she drove into a retention pond near Ringo Drive in Wilmington.

The incident happened around 10:45 a.m. Sunday, and more charges are pending.

No injuries were reported.
