Workers hurt at New Hanover High gym

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) — Two New Hanover County school maintenance workers were injured Wednesday morning while working at Brogden Hall at New Hanover High School.

Deputy Superintendent Rick Holliday said he received a call at 10:26 a.m. that two electricians working in Brogden Hall had fallen from scaffolding and emergency medical services were called for the two injured workers.

Holliday said he was not far away from the Wilmington high school and was able to make it to the gym within a few minutes of receiving the call.
