WPD continue search for armed robbery suspect
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred over the weekend, and they say they’re still searching for the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male in a black jacket.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the WPD was still searching for the suspect.
Around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded the report of an armed robbery at a Scotchman store on Carolina Beach Road.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the WPD or submit an anonymous tip through the Tip 411 App.
