WPD investigates Saturday-morning shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning they say left a man severely injured.

Investigators say Larry Mills, 61, of WIlmington was shot multiple times in the torso and right arm. It happened at about 1:19 a.m. in the area of the 3000 block of Princes Place Drive.

EMS took Mills to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Police did not have an update on his condition.
