WPD investigating armed robbery on Market St.
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Carolinian Inn on Market St. around 1:30 a.m. this morning.
According to police the victim said when she got out of her vehicle a man told her not to turn around or he would shoot her.
Police say the woman felt pressure on her back and saw that the suspect had two handguns against her back. The suspect then grabbed her purse and fled on foot.
