WPD investigating body found near Greenfield Lake

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old man whose body was found near a ditch near Greenfield Lake Saturday evening.

The body was discovered in the 1600 block of E. Lake Shore Drive around 4:30 p.m.

A cause of death has not been determined yet. Police are not releasing the victim’s name until the family has been notified.
