WPD investigating armed CVS robbery

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police say they are looking for a man accused of robbing a CVS.

Police say it happened at the store in the 3600 block of South College Road just before 4:00 p.m.

Our partner at the StarNews is reporting the man showed an employee a knife and took medicine before leaving the store.

No one was hurt.

The suspect is a white, slender man, in his 20s, and was wearing a blue zip-up jacket and a surgical mask over his face.
