WPD investigating shooting into home

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Investigators with the Wilmington Police Department are investigating a shooting.

Police say it happened in the 2200-block of Princess Place Drive just before 11 p.m. Sunday. Police say a man was alone inside the home when he heard a loud noise. A neighbor called 911 and reported several gunshots. At least one of those shots hit the man’s home.

There were no injuries reported. WPD is investigating.
