WPD releases alleged suspect photo from shooting Saturday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for a shooting that took place on Saturday morning.

According to the WPD, police responded to a reported shooting in the 100 block of North Front Street. One female pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a bullet fragment. The suspect left the scene before to law enforcement’s arrival.
