WPD searching for shooting suspect
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are searching for a man wanted for shooting another during an argument early Wednesday morning.
According to a spokeswoman, around 12:10 a.m. Officers responded a report of shots fired in the 600 block of Kelly Road.
Police said Christopher Hallman, 17, of Wilmington, was arguing with someone at the home and during the altercation, the suspect pulled a gun and shot Hallman. He has non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses describe the suspect as a skinny younger white male, about 5′ 10″, with brown hair. They said he left in a red or burgundy four-door sedan with a woman.
