WPD searching for suspect after attempted carjacking

WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington Police spokesperson says WPD received a call about a carjacking off of Cobblestone Drive, near the Corning plant on College Rd.

It led to a chase in the area. The vehicle was recovered. WPD says the person is still on the run and they are actively investigating.
