WPD: Woman in the hospital after being shot early Saturday
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are looking for a shooting suspect. Saturday around 2:00 am police responded to a shooting at the 900 Block of South 12th Street.
Police said when officers arrived they found a 30 year old woman with gunshot injuries.
The woman was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was conscious at the scene, but the extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.
Police said there are no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
