Wrightsville Beach hosting free shred event Wednesday

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH (WWAY) — Wrightsville Beach and Civic Federal Credit Union are hosting a shred event on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

You can help protect yourself from identity theft by bringing your personal documents and records to be safely shredded at no cost to you.

It’s happening at the Wrightsville Beach Municipal Complex (321 Causeway Dr., Wrightsville Beach) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There’s a limit of three document boxes or 75 pounds of paper per person.

The event is not open for businesses, commercial entities or government departments.
