WWAY Family & Kids Expo set for Saturday at Independence Mall
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Families looking for fun and resources all in one place can head to the WWAY Family & Kids Expo this Saturday, March 28 at Independence Mall.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will connect attendees with local businesses and organizations that serve families, offering information on childcare, educational opportunities and activities for kids.
In addition to community resources, the expo will feature a variety of family-friendly entertainment, including character appearances, face painting, a petting zoo, popcorn, cotton candy and more. A magic show is scheduled for noon.
Attendees will also have the chance to meet Lee Haywood and Jason Korver from WWAY.
The event is free and open to the public.
