WWAY news car among vehicles damaged by alleged drunk driver

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A woman is accused of crashing into multiple cars early Sunday morning in downtown Wilmington.

Wilmington Police say shortly after 3:00 a.m., Tayler Holmes, 28, hit four vehicles parked along the 700 block of S 5th Street. One of the vehicles includes a WWAY news car that was parked on the street.  No one was in the news car at the time of the crash.

Holmes was charged with Driving While Impaired.

Police say Holmes blew a 0.19 and was released on a $500 unsecured bond.
