WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The second round of the high school football state playoffs wrapped up Friday night all across the state. We showcased the following matchups on WWAY’s 5th Quarter: Cardinal Gibbons -New Hanover, Wake Forest – Laney, Hoggard – Rose, Whiteville – Bessemer City, East Bladen – Ayden-Grifton, South Columbus – Fairmont and Jacksonville – West Brunswick.
