Young Scientist Academy reschedules 3rd annual breakfast fundraiser

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Young Scientist Academy has rescheduled their 3rd annual breakfast fundraiser to the spring due to the recent winter storm.

The breakfast will take place at Waterline Brewing Company on Saturday, April 25 with check-in starting at 8:30 a.m. and the program starting at 9 a.m.

Breakfast will be catered by Pine Valley Market.

Attendees will hear directly from students whose experiences in YSA programs have strengthened their skills.

“This event is a powerful reminder that when students are given opportunities to explore science in real and relevant ways, it can change the trajectory of their lives,” said Dr. Rob Condon, Executive Director of the Young Scientist Academy.

Proceeds from the breakfast will support YSA’s mission to empower the next generation of scientists to become confident problem-solvers and community ambassadors of science and technology.

Registration is open through April 15.
