‘Zebra Pants’ robbery suspect identified


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Investigators with the Wilmington Police Department said the man accused of robbing a convenience shop wearing zebra-stripped pants is now in custody.

Police said Quinton Jamir Hall, 28, was arrested by investigators with the US Marshals Service yesterday afternoon on Market Street. He’s facing charges including four counts of armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon. Police said he’s been linked to numerous crimes in Wilmington:

  • HanDee Hugo’s, 4100 block of Oleander Dr.
  • Han-Dee Hugo’s Hugo, N. College Road
  • The Cigarette Shop, Shipyard Blvd
  • Scotchman, 900 block of 3rd Street

Police said Hall is in jail under a $500,000 bond.
