videoIn 1950 Tanky Meier started coaching the New Hanover High boys tennis team. Meier was a volunteer coach from 1950 to 2011. The 90 year old died on Monday after a short illness. On our sports at 11pm we paid tribute to the first New Hanover grad to have a sports facility named after him. On Tuesday the Wilmington Sharks opened the 2013 season with a road win. Plus more!
