New ownership for Sharks in 2015

The Wilmington Sharks are pleased to announce that Brad Smith and Smith Family Baseball have agreed to terms with current Sharks ownership to purchase the baseball club.

Laney edges Hoggard in boys soccer

videoLaney played a man up against Hoggard on Tuesday for the majority of the Mideastern Conference soccer game. The Bucs eventually found the back of the net midway through the second half to beat Hoggard 1-0. Hoggard was able to beat Laney in volleyball though. We were in Buctown for both events.

videoThe Detroit Lions need a kicker. Wilmington's Connor Barth will have a tryout with the Lions on Tuesday. Wil Baumann is ranked third in the nation in punting for college football. Both Barth and Baumann are Hoggard High graduates.
