There's a new leader of the pack in Raleigh. Dave Doeren was officially introduced as the new head football coach of the NC State Wolfpack on Sunday. Former New Hanover Wildcat Cari Blalock had a great weekend in the pool at Ohio State for the UNC Tar Heels. Blalock broke a UNC school record at the Ohio State Invitational.

Adell Harris picked up her first win at UNC Wilmington on Wednesday night. The UNCW women's basketball team defeated NC Central in the home opener for the Seahawks.
