David Irving is out as head coach of the Wilmington Hammerheads. The team today announced that, by mutual agreement, Irving is leaving his role and will no longer be involved in the day to day operation with the team. Full story...

David Irving didn't travel with the Wilmington Hammerheads for the three game road trip to California this week. The Hammerheads started the trip with a 2-0 to Sacramento FC Republic. It appears Irving won't be coaching the Hammerheads when they return to town next week either. We expect a full update on Thursday morning. Full story...

Dodgeball for some reason or another over the course of time vanished as a recreation choice for school children. It's now back on the forefront again, with adults. In fact Monday marked the opening night of the new dodgeball league at the Wilmington Athletic Club. It's more social than combative, but the competitive juices definitely come out when the whistle is blown. Full story...
