Year one is behind Jason Tindal and as he says, the honeymoon is over. The Eagles will again look to throw the ball around more than most, hopefully that will help lead them into the state playoffs as November rolls around. Full story...

This is Pat Byrd's first season as the head coach of the West Bladen Knights. Last year Byrd was an assistant coach under Raymond Marlowe. Veteran coach Raymond Marlowe retired a few months ago and Byrd is looking to use his enthusiasm and football knowledge to turn the Knights into a winning program. Dennis Bannick is entering his second season as the head football coach of the West Columbus Vikings. This year he actually attended the first day of practice. He missed the first few days last year due to the fact he wasn't hired to coach West Columbus until August 4th, 2009. The BB&T Football Jamboree will kick off at Legion Stadium on Friday. The action begins at 6:00. Each team will play one half of football in preparation for the regular season which begins August 20th. Full story...
