Pender-Laney makeup game rescheduled for Saturday at Laney High School

Pender keeps beating 1-A teams, but they've struggled against 4-A teams this season. They'll get another chance this Saturday against the Laney Buccaneers.

Two road games in a week. Two road victories for UNCW in a week. Cynthia Cooper Dyke's team defeated Hofstra Sunday afternoon in a game televised live by WWAY.

It's the Game of the Year! Undefeated Laney falls to New Hanover in triple overtime thriller

Saturday night's game between Laney and New Hanover started out a bit sloppy and ho-hum. That changed once the fourth quarter started. The excitement at Brogden Hall didn't end until the final buzzer sounded at the end of the third overtime.
