180 bindles of heroin, cocaine, gun seized in drug arrest
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Detectives with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office and the Wilmington Police Department say heroin, cocaine and a handgun were taken from a home during the execution of a search warrant. Investigators say two men are now facing drug charges.
Deputies say Daquah Drakeford and Deandre Wilder were charged in the investigation; Drakeford is facing charges including heroin and cocaine trafficking, while Wilder is facing heroin possession charges.
Investigators say they were searching a home in the 1200 block of North 4th Street when they found 180 bindles of heroin, 32 grams of cocaine and a handgun.
Both suspects are out on bond.
