MacKenzie Gore placed on disabled list

FORT WAYNE, IN (WWAY) — A blister on the throwing hand of Whiteville native MacKenzie Gore has landed him on the disabled list.

Today the Fort Wayne Tincaps placed the lefty on the 7-day DL with a finger blister that affected Gore in his first start with the team last week and prevented him to start in the team’s opening game.

Gore tossed four strikeouts in three innings pitched while giving up two runs in his debut with the Tin Caps.
