Man charged in connection with Brunswick Co. man’s murder

LITTLE RIVER, SC (WWAY/WPDE) — Horry County Police have arrested the man they believe killed a Brunswick County man in December.

Kevin Stanley, 37, was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center Tuesday on the charges of murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and obstructing justice.

Stanley is charged in connection with the death of 42-year-old Brian Nunn, of Shallotte.

Horry County Police Department says Nunn was found dead in the passenger seat of a vehicle off James Bellamy Circle and Highway 111 in the Little River area on December 22.

HCPD says their investigation shows Stanley shot Nunn multiple times with a handgun.
