4 area teams suit up in Pender County Jamboree

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — Four of our area teams played in the 2018 Touchstone Energy Pender County Jamboree at Pender High School this year.

East Columbus showed a lot of promise heading into their 2018 campaign, scoring 3 times in their opening series against Pender.

Topsail’s new quarterback Cody Wallis looked sharp in their 20 plays against Harrells Christian, tossing some nice passes downfield.

The next step for these teams is the regular season.
